Our huge 60x40 outdoor ceremony platform backs up to the forest on one side and overlooks the pond and barn on the other. Surrounded by 100+ year old white oaks, it looks right out of a fairytale and you will feel like you are saying your vows while floating on a postcard.
When the vows are complete, an 8 foot wide attached boardwalk will wind you through (and around) those 100 year old trees to Sweetwater Valley’s exclusive Speakeasy reception area.
Designed with a 1920’s prohibition decor, the Speakeasy has to be seen to be believed. Outside is a tastefully lighted courtyard cocktail area with pass through bar service. Inside is a climate controlled 2,000 square foot haven with an 8 tap beer and wine bar and a wood burning fireplace. Choose from our selection of local brews or select your own and take advantage of in house bar service (not included in the venue package, but in the upgrades).
Tables and chairs are provided for up to 100 along with a dance floor and stage for your band or DJ. Thoughtfully decorated bathrooms and a roaring fireplace round out the Speakeasy.
There are quality Hotels within 10 minutes drive for overflow guests and we have our own private 14 passenger shuttle bus on hand for transportation needs. We have thought of everything so you don’t have to.

Can I have my rehearsal dinner on-site?
Yes, your onsite wedding rehearsal dinners can be arranged by our Sweetwater Valley Team. Please notate this on your wedding inquiry form in the comment section. *This additional service does result in an additional fee.*
What are my wedding reception options?
You have access to our 4000 sq ft indoor/outdoor reception space. Included in your package are tables and chairs accommodating guest lists of up to 100. *Wedding parties are restricted from using our rental houses for wedding receptions.
What if I want to get married inside?
You do have the option to get married inside of our customizable reception center.
Are there any decoration restrictions?
Yes, the only restriction is that nothing is to be nailed to any surface or wall. One of the great things about the Speakeasy is that it doesn’t need much in the way of decorations, just a few personal touches to make it your own.
Is there a bridal and groom suite on-site?
There is not a dedicated bridal suite at the Venue, but we partner with Airbnbs close by!
Are there any vendor restrictions?
We have an amazing recommended vendor list, but you are not required to use them. Sweetwater Valley does not get kickbacks from vendors.
What is my option for inclement weather?
Our inclement weather plan includes clear umbrellas for the ceremony. We then turn over the Speakeasy after dinner for an indoor reception.
Is set up and break down included in my rental?
Yes, set up and break down are included in your pricing.
Do you provide bartending and serving staff?
Yes, we do provide three bartenders for 3 hours (see Add On Services) . If you need additional services, we have other Sweetwater Valley staff to fit your needs.
May I bring alcohol?
We keep a revolving list of local brews, wines, ciders, jun, and champagne that we are happy to provide to you. If you have any special requests, we will work with you to accommodate your needs. Please note guests may not bring outside alcoholic beverages.
What is the payment schedule?
A 50% retainer is required to reserve your dates. Your remaining balance is due 60 days before your wedding date. We do an incidentals invoice 30 days out for bar service and any add on requests.
